WarCrown: Built for the Long Term
The Wrath private server scene has followed the same pattern for years — ambitious promises, rushed launches, unstable realms and short project lifespans.
WarCrown was built with a different goal in mind.
From the beginning, our focus has been stability, long-term progression and modern infrastructure while preserving the original Wrath of the Lich King experience players remember.
Unlike traditional 3.3.5 projects, WarCrown runs on the modern 3.4.4 Classic client, providing improved performance, compatibility and a more modern gameplay experience without losing the core identity of Wrath.
Over the past months, our development and PTR phases have been focused heavily on stability testing, crash fixing and gameplay polishing. Community feedback has played an important role throughout this process and helped shape multiple launch decisions.
Before launch, we also made several important progression-focused adjustments:
• Phase 1 raids will unlock one week after release for healthier progression pacing
• Recruit-A-Friend XP bonuses were removed to avoid unfair leveling advantages
• PTR participants will receive rewards for their testing contributions
• PvP Season 5 will begin immediately at launch
We understand that players are cautious about new projects. Trust is not built through advertisements or promises — it is built through stability, communication and long-term consistency.
That is exactly what we aim to deliver.
WarCrown PvE launches on May 17 at 18:00 UTC.
