Launch Update — XP Rates & Joyous Journeys

As we approach launch, we want to clearly outline how leveling will work on WarCrown and address some common questions from the community.

⚙️ XP Rates Confirmed

The server will launch with:

x2 base XP rates

This decision was made based on community feedback and internal direction to maintain a consistent and structured progression experience.

⚡ Joyous Journeys (Launch Event)

To support players during the launch phase, we are introducing a limited-time bonus:

Joyous Journeys — +50% Experience

⏳ Duration: 14 days from launch

🧭 How Leveling Actually Works

Leveling speed is not limited to x2 alone.

At launch:

1. Base rate: x2
2. With Joyous Journeys: x3 XP
3. With Recruit-a-Friend (RAF): up to ~x9 XP

This means:

1. Solo players will level at around x3 speed
2. Players leveling together with RAF will progress significantly faster

🎯 Design Approach

Our goal is to balance accessibility and long-term progression:

1. Keep a single, consistent base rate
2. Increase early progression speed through temporary and optional systems
3. Encourage group play without forcing it
4. Avoid fragmentation from multiple selectable rates

⏳ Limited-Time Event

Joyous Journeys is a launch event only.

After the 14-day period ends:

1. The server will continue with standard x2 progression
2. RAF and other systems will remain available as designed
